In this tutorial I'll be introducing you to one of the five main elements of Actionscript, Event Listeners. These are crucial for doing all kinds of things in games, from checking for collisions, to animating characters.
PLEASE NOTE: This series is made for the total beginner programmer. Once we establish some of the basic, general programming concepts and syntax, we will be quickly moving towards creating small games.
