I get asked somewhat regularly , how I got into floating.
It's a bit of a long story, but aren't all the best life-changing stories a bit twisty?
I float regularly because my first float gave me a sense of 'normal' that I hadn't experienced in a very long time. I have struggled with anxiety and depression for most of my adult life, and have been on and off medication with limited results. I just didn't like the side-effect of feeling robotic. My first float stopped my racing brain in its tracks, which, for anyone who has anxiety, knows that all that racing is exhausting.
I decided then and there that I needed floating in my life. 15 months after my first float, I opened the doors to my beautiful space here.
I would love to hear your stories on how you discovered floating, and what it is about floating that keeps you coming back.
