Four months after the Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric vehicle was released, I finally got to experience the winter driving range I'd only heard about.
When I drove it without calculating the range, I'd just thought, "It's a little shorter?" or "I have to charge it more frequently." But when I actually calculated it, I found that the range was almost halved in winter.
Hector, you have other internal combustion engine vehicles, so you can use other vehicles for long-distance driving in winter. But if you're planning on purchasing only one electric vehicle as your daily car, you might want to think twice.
