DONK! Quick Sampler Tricks: Logic Pro X 10.5 Tutorial
In this video, which is part two of useful tricks when using the Quick Sample. Logic Pro X introduced the Quick Sampler to version 10.5. It is a great addition and can be used to not just quickly sample sounds but also used as a powerful tool for sound designing new and original ideas quickly without the fuss of in depth sampling.
In this video I record just one hit using a Djembe and created two different instruments out of the one sound. A more obvious kick drum sound that could be used on it's own or in combination with other instrument kicks.
The second creation was to use the Djembe hit as a melodic instrument taking the music on a new sonic path. Using the Quick Sampler can be a very powerful tool in finding new sound that can be layered with other stock instruments.
