Dai un nome e un colore alle tracce nella Playlist. Aggiungi drums e strumenti al Channel rack. Organizza le tracce nel Mixer. Aggiungi gli effetti alle tracce. Aggiungi i file audio che usi frequentemente. Clicca File - Save as... Salva il file .flp nella cartella Template. Troverai il tuo template in File - New from template. Se vuoi mettere il template che hai creato come template di default, in modo che FL Studio te lo apra sempre automaticamente quando lo avvii, clicca File - New from template - Change default template. Nella schermata successiva inserisci il tuo template.
