Day 60 of 90 Determination
Determination
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,
but bear in mind your feet can get tired whether or not you have prepped.
So what ushers you to continue on to your chosen path of action,
Just when failure is hanging around ready to assume the caption.
This is where you reveal the hidden location,
Of the goal driver called determination.
to fully understand determination’s heart,
You should know that it is made up of three parts.
A GOAL, a COMMITMENT, and a FOCUS are these three,
And they work together in perfect synergy.
With a goal, you have something to work towards,
While a commitment binds all effort together like cords.
Keeping your focus is quite essential,
To staying on course and realizing your potential.
Today marks the 60th day of poetry writing,
And the journey thus far has been a mixture of challenging and exciting.
The times when life posed so many distractions,
I had to call on the power of determination.
On him, I placed the onus,
To remind me of the goal, commitment, and focus.
