UG Class 5 | The DP Hypothesis
Is a structure made up of a determiner and a noun a DP (a determiner phrase) or an NP (a noun phrase)? This issue will be dealt with in class 5 of our course on Generative Grammar (understanding Chomsky's approach). Also, we will introduce the notion of "empty category." Enjoy!
