Working Model - Door Closer Mechanism
This video is an example of combining a four-bar slider-rocker mechanism with a mechanical system of mass-spring-damper. The example used here is a door closer. Effects of the spring and damping coefficients on the performance of the door closer are examined. Applying initial conditions to a system in Working Model is also covered.
