Studio Ghibli film Grave of the Fireflies is finally on Netflix in the US and Canada but SteubeMan wants to know why did it take so long for the 1988 film to come to Netflix in the first place? Turns out it had to do with streaming rights in the US, they were owned by someone else when Netflix first acquired the Studio Ghibli library in 2020.
