FL Studio: configure for real-time film score collaboration over the internet
With the speed of the internet it is now possible for colleagues on opposite sides of the world to collaborate in real-time on composing video soundtracks. Working at a digital audio workstation (DAW) a musician can audition ideas and play them in their colleague's DAW synchronized to the video they are working on together. This video shows step-by-step configuration in FL Studio.

Insert Blue Cat Connector effect plugin
Setup connection IP address, packet size, compression method & buffer size
Assign MIDI Input & Output ports
Insert VidPlayCollab instrument plugin
Assign MIDI Input & Output ports. MIDI Out of BC Connector is set to MIDI In of VidPlayCollab. MIDI In of BC Connector is set to MIDI Out of VidPlayCollab.
Open a video file in VidPlayCollab
Start the FL Studio transport
Project audio & MIDI sync data are sent out to remote computer running FL Studio setup with this exact same configuration
Partner Sync In is enabled in VidPlayCollab
The transport is started on remote computer & this computer receives remote Project audio and MIDI sync data (audio is a drum & FX track)
VidPlayCollab displays the video synced to the audio being sent from the remote computer
