The Jerusalem File (1972)
The Jerusalem File (1971) is a very difficult film to find…and that’s coming from the mouth of director John Flynn when interviewed by Harvey F. Chartrand for Shock Cinema (2005).
Fortunately, with the help of Gabriel Hershman, we have managed to locate a copy of the complete film (albeit with Finish subtitles!). We’ve included a couple of the key scenes from the film on our channel – which feature Ian Hendry.
Plot
The film follows a young American named David, who comes to Israel to study and finds an Arab friend who legally lives there. Before long he finds himself involved with others and finds not all in Israel is as it appears. The action takes place before the 1967 Six Day War.
