Meet Michael Molino—a speech-language pathologist who has worn many hats with the National Stuttering Association (NSA): Chapter Leader, Regional Coordinator, First-Time Ambassador, and Mentor. After 20 years of dedication, he was honored with the Pillar of Community Award at the 2024 Annual Conference in St. Louis.
But Michael's journey with the NSA didn’t start smoothly. At his first Conference decades ago, he was so overwhelmed by his emotions and feelings that he only got as far as the lobby and then walked out. Now, he is part of the First-Timer's Committee, helping first-time Conference attendees navigate those same feelings to ensure they have the support he once needed.
