Be careful with "ŞU"!
The Turkish demonstrative pronoun "şu" isn't just about how close the object being discussed is to us. "şu" can often also convey our attitude toward the object being discussed, and, in general, toward what's being said. Irony, humor, irritation, and all that jazz.
