Let's open the books on today's shave
Pre Shave - Hot Shower
Razor - @HensonShaving AL-15
Brush/Bowl/Trifecta - @StirlingSoap 2 band/Collapsible Blue / Oud Sigma
Head Razor - @headblade Greeneblade
Alum Block - Osma
Just some notes: Oud Sigma is an homage to Polo Supreme Oud, this is a blend of Oud (Agarwood), Guaiac Wood, Vetiver, Cinnamon and Pink Pepper. The 2 stand outs from the scent are the oud and cinnamon (that's my take, YEMV ). I have never been disappointed in a scent of the base from Stirling, and this is no exception.
The shave cave filled with that worming scent and the lather filled that bowl and brush. All though, the bowl seems to have a dual purpose (you be the judge). the speed bumps helped the agitation process and built up a oohh so smooth lather. The brush did a great job. Nice and soft and held up to the lather building process.
The base as always provided a great cushion and a post shave skin feel with plenty of residual slickness.
My Henson did what I have come to expect of their razor , a great shave, just gliding on the cushion of awesome smelling lather.
It was a 3 pass trip on the shave train that got me to BBSTown.
I love Stirling's Glacial aftershave option. so I got this warming scent in a face freezing glacial version. 1 word... FANTABULOUS !!!
And the EdT is a long lasting for an EdT, with a great dry down to lave me confidant scented for the day.
Finishing with my Greeneblade for a smooth dome shave was the capper.
