Kinematics of Uniform Circular Motion
This animation illustrates the kinematics of an object travelling in uniform circular motion. Velocity is the rate of change of position and acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. The expression for the magnitude of acceleration can be determined by a fairly simple geometric argument.
