Sonic Mania| (Sonic & Tails) Part 12- Mini Sonic Returns!
We must get through the lava filled caves of Lava Reef so we can go to Little Planet and stop Dr. Eggman from succeeding in taking it over. On Little Planet, we find ourselves in Metallic Madness once again.
Classic 2D Sonic fans can rejoice as Sonic Mania was created to celebrate and reminisce on the Genesis Era of Sonic games. Sonic Mania is another anniversary title that re-explores iconic 2D Sonic levels from the first four Sonic games as well as some new levels thrown into the mix. Don't worry, while many of the levels are ones seen before they have all been remixed enough to make them feel different and fresh. Sonic Mania was released in 2017 and is available on every major console as well as mobile devices and Netflix. It was created to celebrate Sonic's 25th anniversary and it's special as the game was not developed by Sonic Team, but by a team of fans headed by Christian Whitehead. Everything from the levels to the music were all created by the fan team. It's a game by the fans, for the fans. The story of Sonic Mania takes place after Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Sonic and Tails return to Angel Island where Dr. Eggman and a group of Egg Robos excavate a powerful stone capable of creating reality altering illusions, the Phantom Ruby. The Phantom Ruby teleports Sonic, Tails, and a nearby Knuckles to Green Hill Zone and it transforms the Egg Robos into the Hard-Bolied Heavies. Now Sonic and friends must revisit areas from their past as well as new places as they chase down Dr. Eggman and the Heavies so they can recover the Ruby and foil Dr. Eggman's plan of reconquering Little Planet. Get ready for an epic adventure that will take us across South Island, West Side Island, Angel Island, and Little Planet as we face illusions and new and old enemies. Get ready...for some MANIA!
