May 2024.
My second visit to Kuzbass to see Andrey Pereberin after two years.
This time, I enjoyed hiking through the taiga with two young Laikas, both 15 months old when we met. Their names were Mukha and Belka.
Despite their young age, both dogs already possessed all the necessary skills, and their life with Andrey was extremely harmonious and mutual. Observing this life of a person with dogs in their natural environment, filled with its own challenges and responsibilities, was once again a pure pleasure for me. The Laika, named Dayka, from my previous films with Andrey, has almost reached 17 years of age. She lives in an apiary and has poor hearing and vision, but continues to accompany Andrey on short hikes through the taiga as best she can, running to the stream to drink on her own, and demanding to be fed on schedule. Like all aging dogs, her every action is touching.
Before leaving this time, I spent a long time petting and stroking her, but I hope to see Daika in good health on my next visits.
Andrey and I spent another week having interesting conversations, working hard, wandering through the taiga, encountering a bear, and exploring a site for a new apiary.
Greetings from Andrey to all of his subscribers. He promised to post something on his channel.
