I think I found a glitch with the Gravity Snare! GALACTIC ARCHIVE
this is a glitch or not, I set my science ship to automatically capture galactic wildlife and it began shooting dozens of gravity snares. Each gravity snare can capture 3 creatures and so it didn't make sense it was belting these things out like a literal machine gun. Strangely my energy and alloys increased without cause so I can only assume
