In this video, we look at the sequence of events that lead up to that fateful day, the gruesome details of the murder itself, the failed investigations that took place following her death, the reopening of the cold-case file decades later, the anxiety-inducing interrogation tapes of Stephanie Lazarus, and the dramatic final conclusions to this horrific tale as the judicial system closes its doors on the case.
I originally watched JCS Criminal Psychology's video on the interrogation tapes several months ago and knew I wanted to make a video on it. After I read up on the case out of curiosity and felt there was so much more that I would like to add, so I decided to start making this video. I also felt there were a lot of parts of the raw interrogation tapes that were repetitive or insignificant so I decided to cut it down from around an hour to the most important 20 minutes or so of interrogation footage.
