If this video leaves you scratching your head and asking, "What was that about?", then rest assured that you're asking the right question.
In this video, Albert Berg of the Human Echoes Podcast and devotee of schlocky, low-budget "giant monster" films reads excerpts from the prologue of "Sharcano", a newly released Asylum Films inspired novel.
Albert has a special affinity for Asylum-style films, infamously known for entertaining but low-quality science fiction pulp produced in minimal time, with minimal production value, and minimal budget. The writing quality of this novel perfectly captures that spirit, as aptly demonstrated through Mr. Berg's running critique.
The only thing missing from Mr. Berg's original video presentation ( found at • Albert Reads Sharcano: Prologue ) was an appropriately appreciative audience. So we've given him one in the form of Sarah, Randi, and Karissa, who bravely joined Mr. Berg in navigating the treacherous waters of SHARCANO.
I hope you enjoy it. And in the significant probability that you did not, please accept my apologies for the 7 minutes that you will never get back.
Thanks for watching.
