As always we love bringing to life product messaging to tell a story. HoneyTrace has a unique offering in market, giving users all over the globe the opportunity to better protect their systems from internal and external threats.
Transcript:
Sarah is aware of the potential threat posed by external cyber actors who may infiltrate her organisation’s network without her knowledge.
To detect any intrusions as early as possible, Sarah uses HoneyTrace to create a set of HoneyCredentials and HoneyPots.
HoneyPots are digital tripwires that pretend to be legitimate computers owned by Sarah’s organisation. As these HoneyPots don’t have a legitimate use, any interaction with them indicates something is amiss.
HoneyCredentials can either be logins to these HoneyPots or fake user accounts on her real systems.
The HoneyCredentials and HoneyPots are deployed throughout the network, positioned in credible yet inconspicuous locations, where only an intruder is likely to encounter them.
Sarah integrates monitoring and alerting with their existing cybersecurity systems.
HoneyTrace notifies Sarah of any attempts to use the credentials, enabling her to investigate the suspicious activity.
