ABOUT VIDEO:
In this starting guide, GreenThumbEngines uses an Echo SRM 225 weed eater to demonstrate HOW TO START A WEED EATER. You can use this method to start all 2 stroke engines. Follow this starting tutorial until you reach the end. Once finished, you'll be on your way to making your weed eater start and stay running.
Here are the instructions for starting your weed eater:
1. Find the ON/OFF switch on the handle bar.
2. Put the switch in the "ON" position.
3. Find the choke lever located by the air filter assembly.
4. Flip the lever to the "COLD START" position.
5. Prime your fuel from the "PRIME BULB". (press 8-10 times)
6. Pull the cord to start your weed eater.
7. After it starts, (pull the choke lever down to the "RUN" position) and it will stay running.
NOTE: When you buy a brand new weed eater, it should come with instructions inside the box (Don't lose those instructions)
