Zero-to-1: How to start a career in ML
We were excited to welcome Jayson Cunanan, an AI Researcher to give a talk about starting a career in Machine Learning, where he shared his experience transitioning to an ML job coming from academia with zero python experience. He covered topics from careers in ML, learning resources to job applications hoping that he can help the audience navigate the overwhelming information out there.
👉 Speaker bio: Jayson Cunanan is an AI Tech-Lead at AI Inside delivering optimized ML models to production. He obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematics at Nagoya University and was awarded the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship 2018. In his free time, he loves playing the guitar and Elden Ring.
