Watermark Auto Group Exclusive: Five MHS Seniors honored with 'Award for Perseverance'
More than 120 graduating seniors from Marion High School walked the stage in the auditorium on Monday evening to accept their scholarship honors. Among them, five standout students - Macy Glasser, Jasmine Richmond, Darien Reno, Branden Nelson, and Cameron Randolph - were presented with the inaugural Watermark Auto Group Award for Perseverance during the annual scholarship night event. Former Marion High School teacher and coach Kerry Martin, alongside Marion High School graduate from the class of 2023, Will Absher, had the honor of presenting the awards. The concept for this unique accolade was conceived by Will and his father, Mike Absher, the mayor of Marion and the founder of the Watermark Auto Group. Their vision was to recognize students who may not always be in the spotlight but have exhibited remarkable dedication and resilience.
