Full Story:
The Haunted House
It was a dark and stormy night. The wind howled, and rain lashed against the windows of the old, abandoned mansion. Local legend said it was haunted, but few dared to venture inside. One stormy Halloween night, a group of curious teenagers decided to ignore the warnings and explore the eerie house.
As they entered the creaking front door, a cold shiver ran down their spines. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling, and dust covered everything. They ventured deeper into the house, their flashlights barely illuminating the dark, musty rooms.
Suddenly, they heard a strange noise coming from the attic. With trembling hands, they climbed the narrow, winding staircase. As they reached the top, a blood-curdling scream pierced the air. A ghostly figure appeared before them, its eyes glowing an eerie green.
Terrified, the teenagers turned and fled the house, their hearts pounding in their chests. They never returned to the haunted mansion, and the legend of its ghostly inhabitant lived on.
