After almost a decade, you can’t realistically expect a former flagship graphics card to still impress like it used to, however these days it’s not unusual for graphics cards from the mid-2010s to still have some gaming capability. Maxwell 2 cards technically have all the necessary feature support to be able to run almost every game out there, and the 980 Ti has enough VRAM to at least get a foot in the door; but is that enough in the uncompromising world of PC gaming in 2024?
