Extreme Angle Crosscutting On a Miter Saw
Cutting angles beyond what is marked on your miter saw gauge is possible with a very simple jig. In this video I'll demonstrate that jig and talk about ways to minimize risk when cross-cutting extreme angles. This jig will work with most miter saws or sliding compound miter saws. There are other options, of course, such as a table saw, band saw, radial arm saw, or just a hand saw. But, the miter saw is great for accuracy and repeatability and this jig makes the operation safer.
