Vogtle Stories: Jonathan R.
Growing up in Harlem, Georgia, about an hour away from Waynesboro, Jonathan feels a connection to the project that’s deeper than the job. His father-in-law was a part of bringing Vogtle’s first two units online, and the pride of their accomplishments are now being passed down to a third generation – Jonathan's nine-year-old daughter. Jonathan joined the Vogtle team in 2022 and today serves as a nuclear electrician, helping to monitor and maintain crucial electrical equipment at the nation’s largest generator of clean energy.
