Mini lathe – unboxing, base, first cuts – EP 01
We have got a new lathe. I have been on a hunt for a lathe for a very long time and finally got this machine. It is an Optimum TU 2304. I was considering all of the options but finally decided to get a new mini lathe. It fits very easily into our workshop and this one should be good for all the things I might ever need to make. For such a small machine it should be able to handle a lot.
This will be a series of videos about the lathe. I will probably go through the basics of machining, upgrade a few things on the lathe and review it properly.
