This is a short sound-only demo of Valves by AudioThing, now availablefor iOS / iPad / iPhone, a vintage valve emulation plugin with a multimode resonant filter and cabinet/EQ section. The valve section is modeled after classic vintage tubes, with added grit and custom gain control. The filter section is modeled after a classic ladder filter (2-pole or 4-pole) with low pass, high pass, bandpass, and notch modes. The cabinet/EQ section features a selection of modeled cabinets with classic bass and treble EQ controls1.

🟣 Valves: Quick Review and Info
Valves add tube character to your tracks and has up to 16x oversampling. The built-in Cabinet/EQ section can emulate several types of guitar amplifiers (you’ll surely recognize a few if you watch the video demo!) and is used to shape the overdrive sound. The state variable filter - very high quality - features LowPass, HighPass, BandPass, and Notch modes and can be used pre or post valve.
As usual, a lovely-looking UI - I love the customizeable randomization options that are available in all AudioThing’s recent releases.
Valves has two distinct valve flavors, triode and pentode, a great-sounding EQ, and valve-tailoring Bias control.
Valves is highly flexible due to the possible combinations of all the 2 valve types, 8 different filter types and 8 cabinets.
Recommended, particularly at the intro price of only $4.99 (will be $14.99 from Sept 10th.
