The following is the transcript for the above excerpt:
"Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo, Nichiren Daishonin taught, is so powerful that even if your life is filled with a desire which is actually not for your happiness, some way, through the power of Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo, you will re-direct yourself towards what is, in truth, for your happiness. Therefore, Nichiren Daishonin said, we should chant with a single mind. In the Gosho he said, people in two minds will never achieve anything remarkable. We can chant fearlessly with a single mind, because we know that even if that thing we’re chanting for is not for our happiness, through the wisdom we generate through chanting, we shall discover that and quite naturally change direction – a little bit this way, a little bit that way – to what is truly for our happiness. Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo is so powerful. Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo is the force of life. Therefore, it can only work towards happiness and value."
