As Transformers: Rise of the Beasts gets closer to release, long-standing Transformers voice actor Peter Cullen talks about the character of Optimus Prime evolving over the years, and from Generation One to the Transformers live-action films, he discusses how he remains true to the character.
Peter Cullen is a Canadian voice actor. He is well-known as the voice of Optimus Prime in the original 1980's Transformers series often referred to as Transformers Generation One or "G1" for short. Peter Cullen also spent many years performing the voice of Eeyore in The New Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, and many of the Winnie-the-Pooh film and television specials. He would later return to the Transformers franchise as Optimus Prime in the live action films including 2018's Bumblebee, as well as the Transformers: Prime and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) animated series.
