Modern Guitar Collab 3 - Solo Contest
The hashtag to use for your entry is #MGC3Contest. The hashtag IS NOT #MGC3 as stated in the video.
It wasn’t stated outright in the video, but the prize you get for “winning” the contest/being accepted by the judges is that you get to be a part of the 3rd modern guitar collab itself. The final video will feature a lot of big names, so it’s a great opportunity to push yourself or for unrecognized players to get some more attention on their playing.
If the hosts agree your entry is good enough to be featured, then you’ll be dm’d privately for your stems and anything else we need.
Your solo must be between 16 and 24 bars and must be no longer than 45 seconds. You can use any time signature and you can use any BPM. You must make your own backing track, though if you’re not comfortable with production you’re welcome to get the help of a producer or you can have one made entirely for you. Your video must be horizontal and in at least 1080p, but 4k is preferred.
