One of the biggest hurdles to receiving from God is the idea of "In God's time I'll be healed (or helped, or receive provision...)." This concept of "God's time" places people's faith out in the future to a never-arriving-date. Jesus said that we need to believe when we pray that we will receive and it shall be done. We need to pull our faith out of the future and bring it into the NOW.
Jesus paid for all aspects of salvation, including eternal life, healing, health, provision, and protection, 2000 years ago. All of this was past-tense-paid-for and present-tense-available, i.e. available NOW. The Holy Spirit through Paul said that NOW is the accepted time and NOW is the time of salvation (all aspects). Once we get the idea that God's time was truly 2000 years ago when Jesus paid for everything, we'll have a much richer faith & prayer life with great results. And remember... every time we receive something that Jesus suffered to give to us, we are honoring Him and fulfilling the desire of His heart. Amen!
