Here I am using the Fantasia Java front end for Linux Sampler along with Qtractor. Due to computing power limitations, I bounced out orchestral sections and then mixed those audio stems for the final output that you hear. This playback demonstrates the MIDI connections and complete project with all samples and articulation channels. The piece is the opening movement from a symphonic work that I wrote many years ago for my graduate study in music composition... it's a symphonic suite about roller coasters.

I used soundfont articulations from the Papelmedia, Squidfont, Sonatina, Cadenza, Westgate, and Fluid collections (among others).

Tutorial walk-through to follow... It took me a lot of time and trial and error to sort out the most reliable procedures and workflow to make this work consistently. But ultimately, I found this to be the best solution for purely sampled based rendering via Qtractor.
