By this time, you should already know Elon Musk, but in case you live under a rock and still don't know him, let me tell you who he is real quick.
Elon Musk is a billionaire businessman born in Pretoria, South Africa. He is co-founder of companies such as tesla, spacex and PayPal, among others. In a few words, he is like Tony stark or Bruce Wayne in real life.
According to Forbes, by the end of 2021, his fortune was estimated in more than $306 billion. A little too much money, right? Well, here’s some of the things that this real life Bruce Wayne could buy if he wanted. As of October 2021 the gross domestic product of his native country, South Africa, is roughly $301 billion, so if he were interested in buying it (and they were interested in selling it to him) he could buy it and Would have a few billion more left. I mean, in case he wanted to do some kind of renovations 😂.
As for the American continent, he could buy any country except for the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia, since these countries have a bigger gross domestic product than the fortune of Elon Musk.
He could buy more than 18 thousand mansions like the one that the basketball player Shaquille O'Neal put up for sale in Florida for $16.5 million dollars.
He could buy an iPhone 13 pro Max, an Apple Watch, an iPad Pro and AirPods Max for each one of the 47 million inhabitants of Spain.
He could buy around 600,000 Lamborghini Aventador with a price of 500,000 dollars, which he could use one a day for the next 1642 years if he could find a way to live forever, which is inpossible (unless he found the dragon balls)
If he decided to split his fortune in equal parts to every single person of the nearly 8 billion people in the world. Every single one of them would get almost $40 dollars. It may not be much money but hey, we’re talking about a huge amount of people.
But just as he has been able to generate this much money, he also has to pay huge amounts in taxes, since recently, he had to sell 10% on shares from tesla to pay 15 billion dollars in taxes.
