MAFALDA Mafalda, Susanita and The World (Season #2)
MAFALDA SEASON TWO EPISODE 2, Mafalda Comic Strip from the 1960s Created by the Argentine Cartoonist, Joaquin Salvador Lovado (Quino) in 1964. To be specific, the first episode of Mafalda premiered on September 29, 1964. Mafalda was the typical 6-year-old girl from a middle-class family, committed to a just world, who sought to raise awareness in society on different socio-political issues, making parents and children aware of the importance of education and love for one's neighbor through humor. Mafalda was a comic strip that began in a comic magazine (comic strips) in the magazine Leoplan and later moved to television with its central character, the 6-year-old girl Mafalda, along with her little friends, Susanita, Felipe, Manolito, and Miguelito. Her parents and other characters, Mafalda was published in many countries around the world and dubbed into more than 35 different languages, culminating in 1973 with an impressive 101 episodes or chapters. Joaquin Salvador Lovado (Quino), originally from Mendoza, Argentina, was born and died on September 30, 2020. He premiered the first chapter of his masterpiece Mafalda at the age of 22 and passed away at 88, just as his creation celebrated its 56th anniversary. This serves as a well-deserved tribute to the memory, life, and death of this great Argentine cartoonist (may he rest in peace). #KidsForeverSV
