1997: Apprenticed under the 25th generation swordsmith Fujiwara Kanefusa.
2004: Founded Asano Blacksmith in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture.
2006: Relocated the forge to Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture.
2017: Opened a new forge.
