Vocaloid Video Essay - Why We Love Miku
I discuss the meanings Western Vocaloid fans ascribe to Hatsune Miku. This video was produced for a university course based around investigating transnational flows of music.
This was a tonne of fun to research. I really never saw the day I'd be able to talk about my former self's passion in an academic context, but here we are :D Most of my findings are not mentioned in this video because of time restraints, so if there is demand for future Vocaloid video essays then please let me know!
