This work seeks to explore the transmutation of an artist into their art through the lens and medium of Aquatic Expressive Art. By delving into the depths of this transformation and channeling together elements of Lacan, Shelley, and a little spark of chaos magick, I hope to bring more awareness to the criticality that is expression, and to open new avenues for other artists to explore aquatic mediums in their own art. Through the real expressions of self and physicality manifested in this piece we can explore the uncanny ways in which artists bind themselves to their creations and use their art to symbolize the true natures of their internal expressive needs.

This music video is a passion project written and directed by myself for the Evergreen college course, The Imaginary, the Symbolic, and the Real. This project was created over 8 weeks, and will be shown on a loop in the Evergreen College Gallery in Olympia, WA from 3/3/25 until 3/14/25.
