This Max for Live device let's you set up live-looping in Ableton Live in a very similar approach to looping with a hardware looper like the RC505.
VISUAL FEEDBACK
via resizable pop-up window showing is a looper is playing, recording, stopped. It will show as well if there are any loops present or not.
RECORD up to 10 layers per Looper device
You can set up as many loopers as you need (and as your system can handle). e.g. 20 loopers will give you 200 possible loop slots to record.
EDIT AND MIX RECORDINGS
Each recorded loop layer can be recorded into Ableton Live's Arrangement View. This way you can edit and mix each loop individually after your live loop session.
EASY TO CONTROL + MAP to MIDI controllers
Quickly set up your MIDI hardware to control all functions of the looper. Each function can be MAPed to multiple buttons and pedals. This means you can set up and control looping with the MIDI controllers you already have and in a way which meets your exact needs for live looping.
