The Pi Cast (10/1) Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 W with Paul Beech
Pimoroni are back with the Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 W. The W means wireless and Pimoroni has beaten Raspberry Pi to market with a Wi-Fi based Pico 2. But, it seems that Raspberry Pi had a hand in this board. The RM2 module houses the wireless package, the same Infineon CYW43439 as the Raspberry Pi Pico W.
Pimoroni will also be showing off its new Clipper 4G kit which brings 4G data connections to the Raspberry Pi Pico range. For the early adopters, you'll also get a SIM loaded with 100MB of data, enough for getting started with remote data projects.
