TikTok is one of the most popular social media platforms and people are going viral on it every single day. It is the only platform available today where you can post a video when you have zero followers and have a video go viral with over 1M views. Many of the top influencers post dancing videos but there are hundreds of TikTok influencers who don't dance at all.
In this video I go over the 3 step process for anyone to go viral on TikTok even if you don't dance.
#1 Have An Interesting Topic & Make It Eye Catching
On TikTok users scroll through content so fast. Therefore it is essential that you make the first second of your video interesting enough for someone to keep watching. You can do this by putting the topic of your video in words on the screen. You can show an interesting photo that catches peoples attention. There are dozens of easy to do this, but it is important that you intrigue someones attention within the first second or two of watching your video. What I find to work in my videos is that I put the topic of the video in all capital letter at the very start of the video. I talk about entrepreneurship so that fits well with my style of video.
#2 Use Relevant Hashtags
It is important to use hostages so people can find your videos by using the search feature in the TikTok app. There are two ways I come up with relevant hashtags. The first is that I think of words that come to mind when I think of the topic of my video. Most of my videos are related to entrepreneurship and making money, so I use those hashtags a lot. Another way to find good hashtags for your TikTok videos is by searching "best hostages for..." on google. You can do this for any topic. Some examples could be "best hashtags for baking," "best hashtags for entrepreneurship," and "best hashtags for dogs". Once you find relevant hashtags for your video, make sure to include as many as you can I the description of the video. Typically I put one sentence describing the video and then I fill up the rest of the description with hashtags.
#3 Post Content Frequently & Consistently
This is the most import step. Posting content frequently and consistently is essential for the TikTok algorithm. I recommend that you post 7-10 times every single day. Most people get worried that if they post too much it might annoy the people who are following them, but this isn't true. The way the algorithm works, is the people who enjoy your content with see more of your videos and people who don't like your content won't see as many of your videos. Therefore, the people who don't like your videos won't even see all of the ones you are posting. And, the people who like your videos will be happy that you are posting a lot.
