Bunny-Hop Landing in BOEING 787-10 New Delhi, India to Ankara, Turkey | FULL FLIGHT | MSFS
Here we are for the third leg of our journey to the UK with a flight in the @Boeing B787-10 showing off the @4Simmers @Lufthansa livery!
We had some light mist and low lying cloud as we left Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi [VIDP] before heading #WNW over the #Chenab and #Indus rivers and the highlands of #Afghanistan into #Iran. Roughly at the midpoint of our flight we reached the #CaspianSea crossing at the border of #Iran and #Turkmenistan then entering #Turkey for our landing at Ankara Esenboga Airport [LTAC].
Our approach brought us in very low, some 1,000 feet above ground level and we struggled to line-up with the runway on our first attempt which went missed. Though our second attempt was better executed, we had difficulty getting the aircraft to slow down resulting in a hard bunny-hop landing down the runway (OUCH!).
