Field Theory 1: Basic Definitions, Examples and Results
In this session we discuss about the basics required for developing the Field Extension theory. Rings, ring homomorphism, ideals, prime ideals, maximal ideals, quotient ring, characteristic of a ring etc. were explained with examples. At the end we defined Field Extension and Degree of extension.
