Written Directions:
Step 1: Open the windows registry editor. In the search bar type ‘Regedit’ (without the quote marks) and click the first search result which ought to be a desktop app. Allow it to make changes when prompted.
Step 2: Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
Step 3: Create a new key and name it ‘Personalization’ (no quote marks)
Step 4: Create a new DWORD value and name it NoLockScreen. Set it’s value to 1
Step 5: Reboot your system. There will be no lock screen to greet you this time. You will go straight to the login screen.
