DAKU - BANGLEZ music by UNPRESADENTED
Indo Canadian rap artist DAKU returns after a hiatus, and is back ready to supply an arsenal of new hits after taking a long break from the music scene. Born in Toronto, DAKU took his passion for hip-hop and started putting in work to begin his musical dreams. Around the age of 14, Daku started collaborating with local up and coming DJ’s and releasing Punjabi remix cd’s under his Dakumentary Ent label. This would be the start of getting his name out there and bringing in a new sound of music.
After developing a better grasp in the music industry and evolving his skills, Daku dropped 2 street mixtapes which created a lot of buzz and put music fans on notice. His first mixtape release "Dak-Who?" including features from Tej Gill and Humble The Poet , cemented his name as a top tier lyricist. He later followed up with another mixtape titled "The Dakumentary" with the street classic “Punga” featuring late Kaka Bhaniawala along with “Fly Away” produced by Vancouver’s Intense . He had also joined up with rapper Pacifik and released "D.U.I" mixtape with a vast amount of Indo hip hop fusion production from Byg Byrd , Block Suppliers , EZ-A and another joint collaboration with close friend MD titled the “The Hitztape”.
Daku has now returned and started 2021 with a bang, dropping his single "BANGLEZ" produced mixed and mastered by UnPresadented Music. Stay tuned for new music+visuals coming soon!
