My first prop build! Thanks to Germain and everyone on the FISD (1st Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment) forums.
I forgot to mention in the video that I also got a cheap red plastic container and cut small pieces out of it to diffuse the red L.E.D. panels since they turned out pinkish.
Got two of the 3-5cm L.E.D. panels from www.elwirecraft.co.uk and chose the option with the splitter. (I still had to cut the light panels a little bit to make them fit, and folded one of them inside the hengstler.)
Got the mini coin cell mini inverter from www.adafruit.com.
Got the files from the forums at www.whitearmor.net.
Got it printed from a local vendor from www.3dhubs.com (Be patient, some pieces can take more than 8+ hours to print depending on the printer).
Got textured neoprene rubber from www.rubbersheetroll.com.
Got map magnets from www.amazon.com.
I am NOT a PRO at this. I used whatever tools I had at my disposal, but I did have to buy a dremel, epoxy glue, spray paints, sandpaper, small paint brushes, drill bit set, and items mentioned in the links above.
You might want sticker labels to print on for the logos near the barrel, but you can probably just use paper if you want, but the ink could soak up the glue and change the color slightly.
Thanks for watching!
