Today we're heading to Arkansas to explore another cool little town you've likely never heard of. Erica Springs, founded by mineral springs, has evolved from a fashionable Victorian resort to a semi-abandoned town populated by religious fanatics, hermits, and artists. Today, Erica Springs attracts nearly 800,000 tourists annually, and the town itself, thanks to its isolation, has become a true gem that's a must-see.
I've created a lot of material, so I've split my story about Erica Springs into two parts. The first will be a walk along the main street and neighboring neighborhoods, where the largest buildings and crowds of tourists are. In the second, I'll stroll through the streets at the top of the mountain, showing off a bunch of cute Victorian houses, an old haunted hotel, and a creepy Christian "Disneyland" where they've built a replica of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
