Google pixel 7a is the latest google phone in "A" series. Here in this video i will be talking about Google Pixel 7a in telugu and testing it's Google's hardware and software features.
I'm using the phone for about a month now. I'm using Google Pixel right from Pixel 3a and I Upgraded to Pixel 7A from Pixel 6A recently.
I bought the #pixel7a from #flipkart during Big Billion Days.It costed me around-RS-35,999/-.
This phone is just awesome and this video is my complete In-Depth Review of Pixel 7A.
Design-
All way design identical to Pixel 7 series with plastic back that supports wireless charging.The glossy look was pretty nice coz it doesn't make the phone look like plastic.
The finish was very much clever you doesn't even feel it's a budget phone.
The camera bar is metallici.e Aluminium camera Bar which is same on Pixel 7 series.
Display-
6.1 inch OLED display with 90hz refresh rate and 429PPI(The more Pixel density more clarity)
Display is amazing with balanced colors and 1000nits peak brightness make the phone convinient to use outdoors.
The display also supports HDR.
Software-
Google Pixel has brilliant software with some Pixel exclusive features.Pixels are first to get Android updates.Pixel 7A launched with Android 13 and will get guaranteed updates upto 2028(which includes 3 years OS upgrades i.e up to Android 16 and till 2028 we get monthly security patches)
Im currently on Android 14 Beta.
Performance-
Im not new to tensor coz I use Pixel 6A too which has Tensor G1.I noticed significant performance improvements on 7A compared to 6A.Multitasking,Gaming,Video editing went very smoothly and i don't even faced any lags during the usage.
Storage-
Im using Pixel 7A 128GB variant because it's the only variant available to buy in India.
Pixel 7A comes with UFS3.1 storage optimised for 5G network
Cameras-
My most favourite part of Google Pixel.Pixels are known for their cameras.Pixel 7A cameras are next level. Pixel 7A equipped with 64MP main camera and 13 MP ultrawide and 13MP ultrawide.They are maintained at Pixel standards.You can check the samples in the video.
Pixel 7A supports 4k@60fps and front camera at4k 30fps and speech enhancement only works at 4k30
Battery life-
Everyone complains about Battery life on Pixel right after unboxing the phone but Pixel uses Adaptive Battery it means the phone learns your usage and optimises battery life according to usage.It takse some time to learn some usage.
Im getting 6-7 hrs of screen on time on my Pixel 7A with 5-10% left at day end.
Heating Issues-
The phone heated a lot after i unboxed and started setting up but i noticed that the device is on Android 13 and i updated to Android 14 the heating issues were fixed.
Currently im on Android 14 Beta i see some improvement in terms of performance,camera and heat management.
Speakers were good on this phone.Adaptive Sound is better option to enable.
Connectivity wise it's optimised very well im using jio 5G and getting upto 500-800mbps
Conclusion-
Pixel 7A is decent phone to buy and it has best cameras,software experience and Performance.
